About the Journal
The Cine-Fórum Collective was conceived in 2018, originating from an informal idea during a conversation among undergraduate students of Portuguese/Spanish Language and Literature at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Initially nurtured in an unpretentious context, the idea took shape and materialized in an event held at the aforementioned university, characterized by the promotion of knowledge democratization, dialogue, and debate, both within and beyond academic boundaries. Since its creation, the Cine-Fórum Collective has remained committed to its founding purpose of fostering academic discussion and disseminating knowledge. The launch of the Revista Coletivo Cine-Fórum in 2023 marked a formal commitment to scientific production, oriented toward the interdisciplinary field of the College of Humanities (CAPES), encompassing Language and Literature, Linguistics, Arts, Human Sciences, and Applied Social Sciences. This scientific publication adheres to the standards of excellence established by universities and the Brazilian Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
