About the Journal
The Cine-Forum Collective had its genesis in 2018, stemming from an informal conception originating during a conversation among students of the Undergraduate Program in Portuguese/Spanish at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Initially conceived in an unassuming context, the idea took shape and materialized into an event held at the mentioned university, characterized by the promotion of the democratization of knowledge, dialogue, and debate, both within and beyond academic boundaries. Since its inception, the Cine-Forum Collective has remained committed to its inaugural purpose of stimulating academic discussion and the dissemination of knowledge. The launch of the Cine-Forum Collective Journal - RECOCINE in 2023 marked a formal commitment to scientific production, oriented towards the area of Humanities, in the fields of Literature, Linguistics, Arts, Humanities, and Applied Social Sciences. This scientific publication vehicle pledged to adhere to the standards of excellence established by universities and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES/Brazil).
